Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed

Year I joined CT:

2023

Why I became an OT:

I have always wanted to enter into a career related to helping people in a creative way since I was young. I had ideas of becoming an elementary school teacher to a doctor bouncing around constantly in my head while growing up.

My first introduction to OT was through my Mother’s stay-at-home daycare where an early intervention OT visited to assist one of the children. I soon came to fall in love with how even though they were just “playing” it was still functional. The holistic nature of the profession alongside the focus on meeting individuals where they are is what officially drew me in and I could not be happier.

More about me:

I obtained my BS in Exercise and Sports Science and my Master’s of Occupational Therapy both from St. Catherine University in Saint Paul.

Special training, certification, and interests:

Aside from working as an OT, you can find me spending time with my family and my dog Rosa. My hobbies include reading, cross-stitching, gardening, traveling, and watching sporting events.
