Sydney Orr, OTD, OTR/L
Sydney Orr
Occupational Therapist
Year I joined CT:
2023
Why I became an OT:
I always knew I wanted to work in the healthcare field in some capacity, and fell in love with occupational therapy’s holistic approach to providing care. I enjoy how creative we can be with the people we treat, especially children, by developing a meaningful and fun approach to treatment.
More about me:
I received my BS in Community Health Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato and my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, being out on the lake, reading books, yoga/exercising, and watching my favorite reality TV shows.
Special training, certification, and interests:
I have a special interest in all components of pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration, emotional regulation, and early motor development. I love watching children develop and enhance their skills in their most meaningful activities.
