Meet Our Team

Molly Schoenstedt, MAOT, OTR/L

I graduated from St. Catherine University with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. My practice areas of interest include sensory integration, play-based feeding therapy, and sound-based regulation tools.

More about me!
I have an 11-year old Mini Aussie named Ivan. He wishes he was my only interest. I've played the piano since I was eight years old. In my free time I keep busy with family and friends, finding time to be near any body of water, and being creative.

Why I became an OT:
I initially became an OT after working with kids with ASD. I realized how important self-regulation and sensory integration are to performance and function and how unfair it was to ask so much from these kiddos when they don't have tools or opportunities that are needed to regulate, then learn. Once I realized that I was already working from an OT lens, it seemed natural to continue in this direction. I also have a lot of understanding and compassion for those who are neurodivergent and those experiencing trauma-related challenges, and find it very rewarding when I can help a child turn that feeling of anxiety and stress into a sense of safety and curiosity.
