Meet Our Team

Leah Blattner, MAOT, OTR/L

I graduated from St. Ambrose University with an undergraduate in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy. My practice areas of interest include sensory processing, reflex integration, regulation, play, and social skills.

More about me!
I spend much of my time with my wonderful husband Dan, my snuggly cat Walter, and my fluffy dog Willa. I love to be outside gardening, walking, hiking, rollerblading, and being with friends. Dan and I love to play card games and do crossword puzzles together. I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and painting my nails.

Why I became an OT:
I love getting to have meaningful therapeutic relationships with my clients and families, getting to be on the move, use my creativity!

My extraordinary therapy moment:
I love to see kids gain confidence after helping them have positive experiences with things that previously seemed too scary or hard. I once evaluated a client who stopped eating after a traumatic choking incident. After one session of playfulness and FUN with food, they were able to eat all of their favorite foods again!
