Meet Our Team
Kiara Boeck, MSOT, OTR/L
I graduated from the University of New England with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. My practice areas of interest include evidence-based research in sensory integration, self-regulation, and building social skills through play-based schemas/activities.
More about me!
My personal hobbies include: anything with the outdoors (kayaking, hiking, rollerblading, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, etc.), traveling, reading, trying new things, being a foodie, listening to music, playing board games, and spending times with friends/family.
Why I became an OT:
I became an OT to create a meaningful impact in a child's everyday life by supporting functional outcomes with family-based care. As an OT, I value the communication and collaboration between providers and families to form goals that would not only benefit the child but support family dynamics. When we are able to form goals based on family dynamics and a child's needs, we see improvements with well-being, self regulation, confidence in abilities, and carryover with life long skills.
My extraordinary therapy moment:
When I see a child go from “can’t do it” to "doing without thinking” is the moment I love my job the most! That leap of trust, confidence, and skill/ability is what makes my heart very fulfilled and happy for all my kids.
